Family & Friends

During second half of my Raya break, my family came to KL to attend my cousin's wedding and "xun bin" visit me. ==' Before that, I locked myself in room to finish my vet pharm assignment. I had great time eating and shopping with my family and relatives. Have to thank my pretty cousin!

One week later, it was mid-autumn festival. After attending the last two lectures of SEM 5, I travelled to Semenyih. First stop was University of Nottingham (Malaysia Campus). My friends and I had fun fooling around.

Cute Ducksss swimming in the man-made lake

Jumping high

Next, we had a very satisfying dinner at well-known “52” Restaurant. It is a must-go in Semenyih.

On mooncake festival the day itself, we travelled to Melaka! Hurray! Our food trip began. Or shall I say “SS” trip???? since we were bc camwhoring every moment during the trip. Oh ya! Don’t get shocked! That was actually my first time travelling with my hometown buddies.

1 map, 2 cars, 3 cameras, 8 people, lots of fun.

Ribuan terima kasih to our drivers: Seng & Desmond
our photographers: Shin, Greg & Desmond

Must-eat in Melaka: chicken rice ball, Nadeje thousand layers cake, Nyonya cendol and satay celup.

We ate 9 pieces of that

After saying goodbye to Melaka, we bought some lanterns (must-play during mid-autumn festival) on the way back to Semenyih. At 12am, we were playing tanglung in Nottingham. =)Of course, we ate mooncakes!!! Thanks Kenneth for the Sarawak mooncakes. YUM YUM!!!!

Too bad some of our friends couldn’t join us this time. NVM! I’m looking forward to our next trip! Broga Hill, here I come!

Confession

We are the crowd
We're cuh-coming out
Got my flash on it's true
Need that picture of you
It's so magical
We'd be so fantastic, oh

Leather and jeans
your watch glamorous
Not sure what it means
But this photo of us
It don't have a price
Ready for those flashing lights
'Cause you know that baby I...

I'm your biggest fan
I'll follow you until you love me
Papa-Paparazzi
Baby there's no other superstar
You know that I'll be your...
Papa-Paparazzi

Promise I'll be kind
But I won't stop until that boy is mine
Baby you'll be famous
Chase you down until you love me
Papa-Paparazzi

I'll be your girl backstage at your show
Velvet ropes and guitars
Yeah cause you know I'm starting between the sets
Eyeliner and cigarettes
Shadow is burnt, yellow dance and return
My lashes are dry... But the teardrops I cry
It don't have a price
Loving you is Cherry Pie
'Cause you know that baby I...

I'm your biggest fan
I'll follow you until you love me
Papa-Paparazzi
Baby there's no other superstar
You know that I'll be your
Papa-Paparazzi

Promise I'll be kind
But I won't stop until that boy is mine
Baby you'll be famous
Chase you down until you love me
Papa-paparazzi

Real good, We're dancing in the studio
Snap-snapped, That shit on the radio
Don't stop, for anyone
We'll Blast it but we'll still have fun

I'm your biggest fan
I'll follow you until you love me
Papa-Paparazzi
Baby there's no other superstar
You know that I'll be your
Papa-Paparazzi

Promise I'll be kind
But I won't stop until that boy is mine
Baby you'll be famous
Chase you down until you love me
Papa-paparazzi

Broken? Rejoin!

The most powerful organ in human is brain, specifically the mindset. Your imagination is boundless. You can curse a person without saying a word by just thinking how you are going to kill that person in your mind. Should I use a machine gun or a chainsaw? See? How horrific it could be.

Some choose to stay away from the person that does not please them. It is hard to have a conversation since there is nothing in common to talk about. Relationship can be very fragile when conflicts come to pass. Hm.... I’m not talking about BGR (boy girl relationship) but general relationships.

If you stand firm and frame your mind, even a living related relationship can be easily broken with small agitation. What response should you give when you meet that person? Be a hypocrite and smile widely? Or be a stranger and walk away?

Forgiveness is a life-long lesson.

Somehow, when the person comes back to you, will you welcome him or her with open hands?

The happiness that follows after rejoined relationship is bigger than anything else. Let those heartbroken teardrops stay in the past and embrace the joyfulness presently.

Composition Writing

Today, my friend (Stacie) told me that my blog is very ‘deep’ bcoz I use a lot of bombastic words. I replied her with “hahaha”. Anyway, I have to thank her for reading my blog (even though mine is not the popular 1) and giving me feedback. =)

Conversation above stirs up my memories of primary 6. I had Chinese Composition as an individual module at that time and my class teacher always dissatisfied with my Chinese composition writing. As what she had expected, my name did not manage to get into the ‘7As’ list for UPSR bcoz of that subject.

I decided to turn over a new leaf when I entered high school. I harvested my grains only after sowing and nurturing for 2 years +. My Chinese teachers like my works but not my Malay guru. I have come out with a conclusion, “YOU CAN’T PLEASE PEOPLE”. My Chinese compositions were being used as references for my classmates and even juniors. One of them was even being added into convo magazine. What happen to my Malay compositions?
You might see them inside the recycle bin for papers.

Even how hard I had tried to throw in “bombastic” words or sentences in my Malay essays, I would only receive this comment from my guru, “I still can’t see your improvement”. According to my guru, my writings are as plain as pure water. It was tiring to prove my guru wrong. Why should I push myself so hard to become No.1? A theory from my friend, “100% is A, 80% is also A”. It makes sense in fact.

Frankly, I was discouraged by my Malay guru when I was told that my Malay would not help in adding number of A for my SPM. “Do the best I can”, I murmured. Three months later, in the result slip, few words below my name, Bahasa Melayu – A1.

We tend to prove others wrong when they doubt about our ability. Thus, we are living for others. We just have ‘one life’. Live for yourself! (A motto that I usually whisper to myself)

Thunderstorm -> heavy rain -> sunshine -> rainbow = Life cycle of Homo sapiens.

A Must-read post!

A lot of things are going on in these 2 BC weeks....

Being the odd one, I usually sleep early instead of staying late in the night before class test (to swallow in the notes without chewing)....or it is just bcoz my bed has higher protein (me) binding affinity than my notes???? Somehow, the time for me staying in bed is lesser.... ^^

Endless lectures, countless notes and restless mind
I believe most if not all B1/07 have suffered from “information fatigue syndrome”

As the old folks say, “Choose the one you love, and love the one u choose”. In other words, I have to accept the ‘complications’ for enrolling myself in BPharm. *grin*
(I totally agree what MA had told us, “Not everyone can become a pharmacist”.)

However, I often misuse my mouth to complain about this and that.... by doing this, I’m putting on negativity (yin) in me myself and also in my listeners. How I wish I am an “adaptogen” just like the ginseng....
But HOW? Sometimes you just can’t ask your brain not to think about that....

Emotional distraction especially, can affect the efficacy of study. I will bring myself to ‘sense of well-being’ by playing rock songs at ‘appropriate’ volume level.

Perhaps, there are also times when you feel the world is su*k and everyone seems to be so irritating that you want to seal yourself with ‘Zein’. ‘Wau’, this is what we called “EMO”. Have you ever thought that may be you are the one that is not aligned with the trend?

As I have mentioned earlier, thinking is involuntary. Each one of us has our own ‘QC’ (quality control) system. We tend to ‘fingerprint’ and ‘classify’ every single person that we see. From what I have learnt from Complementary medicine, standardisation is not easy for herbal remedies since the amount of ‘active constituents’ present is different. The same principle applies in human.

I had to put my shade on after the Comp. Med class test as most B1/07 showed their white and shinny “incisors and canine” which I could hardly see within these 2 weeks.
PS: B1/07 should show ‘them’ more often. =)

Though there is still a long way for us, B1/07 ‘Tambah Minyak’ (Add oil / Jia you / Gambateh / Aza fighting)!!!!
